With Apple Watch, it becomes easy to check email, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp notification and other important notification. By default, you receive information on your Apple Watch if you have paired it with your iPhone properly.

But today morning suddenly, my Apple Watch fails to show me notifications due to unknown reasons. So I dig into the problem to fix it and try all the possible ways, and at last, I got it fixed. So if you are also facing the same kind of issue, then check out the below-mentioned ways to fix not getting notifications on Apple Watch issue.

Not Getting Notifications on Apple Watch Series 5, 4, 3 and 2? Here is a Fix

Solution #1: Check Bluetooth Connectivity

First of all, check the Bluetooth connection as Apple Watch needs Bluetooth to be turned ON to receive notifications in real-time. If it is not enabled, then turn it on and make sure that your Apple Watch is properly connected with your iPhone.

Solution#2: Check Internet Connectivity on iPhone

The second and most important thing you need to check is your internet connection on your iOS device. If you don't have an active internet connection on your iPhone, then also you won't receive a notification on your iPhone. So make sure that you have Cellular data or WiFi ON.

Solution# 3: Check for Software Updates

Check for the software updates on your Apple Watch. If you're Apple Watch is running on older software versions then update it. Because sometimes due to software glitches also this kind of problem occurs.

Solution# 4. Do Not Disturb Mode

Have you put your Apple Watch in DND mode? If yes, then disable it because this will send all your notification to your iPhone and not to your iWatch.

Solution# 5: Customized Notification

Apple Watch notification use iPhone settings, so if you have made any special notification settings, then check that first. For example, if you have set up a mail app to notify you only when you receive VIP emails, then you on your Apple Watch also you will receive notification for VIP emails only. So if you have done any such kind of setup then you can customize it by following below-mentioned steps:

Step #1. Open Watch app on your iOS device → Tap on My Watch tab → Tap on Notifications.

Step #2. Next, tap an app

If you want the app notification settings to display settings on your iPhone, then tap on Mirror my iPhone.

If you want to use different notification settings for your Apple Smartwatch, then tap on Custom.

Solution# 6: Turn ON Cover to Mute Option

Launch Apple Watch App on your iPhone → tap on My Watch → Sounds and Haptics section; you will see the "Cover to Mute" option.

Turn OFF this option.

Once you turn it off, you will immediately start receiving notifications on your Apple Watch. Later you can turn ON Cover to Mute option.

Solution# 7: Turn OFF Wrist Detection

Step #1. Open Watch app on iOS device → Tap on My Watch.

Step #2. Now, tap on Passcode.

Step #3.  Next, tap on Turn off Wrist Detection option.

From now onwards, you will get all notifications on your Apple Watch.

If this method works on for your Apple Watch, then you should assume that the Infrared sensor, which detects your wrist, is not working properly.

That's it, my dear friend. I hope that your issue got fixed by following any of the above methods.
